Jewelry are visual markers one's life events. We remember where and why we received or purchased a piece. They not only have an intrinsic value but an aesthetic value as well.

Mark Humenick is a jewelry maker. Most of his collectors call him artist. Susan Humenick is a Graduate Gemologist. She knows stones.

Mark and Susan have their studio/living space just outside of Santa Fe New Mexico for the last 25 years. Just a mile or so from the first mine in North America, the Tiffany turquoise mine. Mark has a Master's degree in Art/Jewelry and has worked for international firms Paris, New York, and Houston. His work has been exhibited in juried shows in Europe and the US. Five BENE awards and a SPECTRUM award for his metalwork.

The current work is in Sterling Silver and 18 karat yellow gold, some with natural gemstones. He fabricates his one-of-kind, in series works, from sheet and wire. He uses recycled precious metals and alloys his own metal. All natural. No plating to wear off. NO FAUX.
